Acrylic paintings on canvas and paper are focused on the arrangement of geometric figures, the composition of solids and the relations that appear between them due to the translucency of individual layers. Thanks to the glazed surfaces, the planes begin to penetrate each other, creating depth and space.

Precisely defined, but at the same time imperfect. In my work, I try to focus on how to control this imperfection and randomness.

The source of influence and inspiration, things I draw main inspiration from are architecture (modernism, brutalism) and typography. From the history of art the periods of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and the first half of the 20th century are especially close to me - Modernism as a wider issue, Young Poland (Polish: Młoda Polska), and then Kapists (Polish: Kapiści), also known as the Colorists (Koloryści), the world of geometric abstraction and finally the abstract expressionism and minimalism.
